Degree and diploma programs in classical music, dance, and fine arts.
Indian classical music is a deeply spiritual, ancient art form from the Indian subcontinent, structured around melodic ragas (moods) and rhythmic talas (cycles). Divided into North Indian Hindustani (improvisational) and South Indian Carnatic (composition-based) traditions, it emphasizes oral tradition, the guru-shishya parampara, and spontaneous improvisation to create unique performances.

Indian Classical Dance embodies the elegance and richness of India's classical dance heritage, encompassing forms such as Kathak, Bharatanatyam, Kathakali, Kuchipudi, Manipuri, Mohiniyattam, Odissi, and Sattriya. Through comprehensive training with a focus on abhinaya (expression) and nritta (rhythmic patterns), students are guided to internalize the art of narrative through movement. The engagements in performances, workshops, and collaborative projects significantly enhance the educational journey, enabling students to attain both technical proficiency and artistic sophistication.
Fine Arts offers a vibrant space for aspiring artists to explore and hone their creative expression. With programs in painting, sculpture, and applied arts, students receive hands-on training in various mediums and techniques. Emphasizing innovation and tradition, the department encourages students to develop their unique artistic identities while staying rooted in Indian culture.
